Background

Big Book Notes is a photographic exhibition of individual AA members' annotations in their book “Alcoholics Anonymous”, also known as The Big Book. Most members do not see inside of another member's book, as such seeing the inside of these books is a first opportunity.

Some books have additional annotations inside the book cover or other parts of their book which are displayed at the end of each book.

Big Book Notes is not officially affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous or any other group or organization, nor distributes or collects personal data or money from visitors.

The AA members whose books are included understand that images of their book were to be shared publicly and anonymously.
